Administrative HistoryThe parish of Abbots Bromley has been in existence since the medieval period. The area of the parish was reduced in 1874 when the neighbouring parish of Hoar Cross was formed.

Parish Administration - Civil : poor rate books, 1809-1853; papers re settlement and removal, 1698-1849; papers re bastardy, 1694-1836; apprenticeship, 1706-1892; constables' papers 1739-1852.
Parish Charities: 1666-1936 including accounts and detailed disbursements.
Statutory Deposits : tithe maps and apportionments for Abbots Bromley 1846, and Bagots Bromley, 1849.
