Administrative HistoryThe parish of Berkswich has been in existence since the mediaeval period. Until 1776 it included the two separate chapelries of Acton Trussell and Bednall, which were then formed into a single new parish. As well as the parish church of Berkswich, Holy Trinity, the parish is also served by a chapel of ease of Walton on the Hill, St. Thomas, and the mission church of Brocton, All Saints.

Parish Administration - Civil : poor rate books 1805-1859 (with gaps); overseers of the poor accounts 1699-1837; papers re settlement and removal 1701-1834; bastardy papers 1695-1831; apprenticeship records 1737-1819; surveyors of the highways accounts 1824-1885.
Parish Charities : accounts of various parish charities 1844-1932.
Parochial School : committee, later managers', minutes 1836-1974; accounts 1836-1908.
Parish magazines: 2008-2015 (incomplete series).
Miscellaneous : various notes on aspects of local history, 20th cent.
One of the key figures in church life was HJ Bostock of the shoe manufacturing firm (Lotus Ltd), was for many years was churchwarden, later "Vice-Chairman Emeritus" of the Parochial Church Council.
