Administrative HistoryAncient parish in civil terms, but until 1729 a chapelry in the parish of Lichfield St. Mary. 1737 lost for ecclesiastical purposes the chapelry of Hammerwich. In peculiar jurisdiction of Dean and Chapter of Lichfield.
The parish of Christ Church was created out of this parish.
