| Description | In 2009 there were 27 Groups in Staffordshire, each made up of a number of Women's Institutes. Each Group has a Group Co-ordinator who arranges the Group meetings which are held twice a year. Representatives from all the Institutes in the Group attend these meetings. A member of the County Executive Committee (Board of Trustees) is also invited to attend.
A list dated from the early 1980s has thirty Groups, plus a further three for which Group names have not been recorded.
Five Groups (Border, Mease & Tame, Parkside, Reliance, and Trentside) have since closed.
