| Description | Subsidiary companies were usually wholly owned by Evode Group plc, whereas associate companies were partly owned by Evode and involved a joint venture with another company. Subsidiary or associate companies based overseas, communicated with Evode via the licensees' coordination department although they were not technically licensees.
A list of the companies within the group has been compiled from the annual reports and this appears before the catalogue of records. From 1988 onwards the annual reports do not contain a full list of subsidiaries and the list reflects this limitation. The companies are listed chronologically in order of the date of acquisition or the date of formation, if they were formed by Evode.
