DescriptionOriginally compiled by former Chairman Alfred Haigh (from 1933), and passed to new Chairman Sidney Hill (1955-1969).
Note at front dated 1948 reads "I intend to put on this file papers taken from recent files relating to Bonus issues, capital matters, Articles of Association etc. I begin however by putting on a list of some interesting things in an earlier file of mine marker Shares..."; noted added in 1956 by Sidney Hill: "I revive this file for special notes, especially historical notes, and matters of top level interest, although not necessarily for current action."

The first section includes historical notes on the Brittain family.
