The numbered series of videos was held in Valerie Baynton's (Royal Doulton Curator) filing system, so it is assumed these videos were later retained and preserved by the Museum.

These films are kept in one or more of the following formats: 16mm Film, 35mm Film, Super 8 Format, U-matic Tapes (U-matic is an analogue recording videocassette format) and VHS videocassette tapes. At this point all formats have been retained in preparation for long term preservation when it is hoped they will be digitised. Some recordings were recorded in multiple formats, these appear as as one CALM record listing each of the formats and their temporary locations.

Where running time is indicated this refers to the Royal Doulton sequence, e.g. TV programme tape may be 60 minutes long but the Company may only be featured for a few minutes.
