Description	The manor of Burton-upon-Trent was the property of the Abbey of Burton-upon-Trent until the dissolution of the monasteries when it was purchased by Sir William Paget, 1st Lord Paget of Beaudesert, from the Crown. The manor included the members of the Borough, Burton Extra, Anslow, Branston, Brislingcote, Horninglow, Stapenhill, Stretton, Wetmore and Winshill.
