Description	Cannock and Rugeley were originally separate manors, but for most of their history have been treated as a single manor. The manor of Cannock and Rugeley was the property of the Bishops of Lichfield and Coventry until surrendered to the Crown in 15??. It was granted to Sir William Paget, 1st Lord Paget of Beaudesert.
