The copies have been arranged in chronological order, though some dates are conjectural.
The reference nunbers have been given to the copies in this office, whilst the numbers in square brackets at the end of each description refer to numbers apparently given to the original documents.
These documents concern the affairs of the Bagot family, mainly the financial affairs of Sir Hervey Bagot of Field during the Civil War and Commonwealth periods.
Most of the conjectural datings have been made with the aid of "A History of the Family of Bagot etc." by Major General the Hon George Wrottesley, 1908.
