Description	Some rentals seem to have formed part of the records kept in the offices of the central agents for the Leveson-Gower family estates during the 18th cent. and 19th cent. Others were apparently part of the records of the various local agents, or were kept by rent collectors. It is now impossible to arrange the material according to the agency in which it was orginally held. The rentals were not arranged according to agencies when deposited, and the question is complicated by the fact that the Central Agency seems to have kept duplicates of some rentals held by local agents.
