DescriptionThe junior portion of the former Mavesyn Ridware CE School became Mavesyn Ridware Council School in 1915. Because of this the master at the previous school was given notice to leave. A separate infants' department may have continued in the former school buildings, but no records for this have been deposited. A report in 1949 makes clear that an infants department is still part of this school.

The school was located in Hill Ridware. Also called Chadwick County Primary School (c.1960).
