| Description | The inclosed letter, directed to the Mayor of Lichfield, having been delivered by the postmaster to Mr William Cotton, on being opened by him was found to contain proposals consistent with allegiance, so forwards it to his Lordship assuring him that every member of this "incorporation" is united in the warmest zeal for the honour and support of His Majesty, and will contribute by all possible means to suppress the present rebellion
