Title	Letters to Messrs Thynne and Thynne from W. H. Dawes of Bromford Iron Works, West Bromwich, and Samuel Bailey, mining agent, relating to coal and iron mines at Friar Park Wednesbury

Description	Includes a reference to strikes in the Midlands iron industry, 1868. The later letters mostly concern an arbitration between Lord Dartmouth and Dawes about royalties from ironstone workings at Friar Park. With the correspondence are some reports on the Friar Park and Balls Hill Mines.
